ABOUT THE ROLE
Principal is our most senior consulting role here at NOBL, and we're looking for one more senior consultant to join our crew. This role is remote, but we need someone in a U.S. timezone and available for up to 20% travel time to our clients.
Here's a sense of the person we're hoping to meet:
- You understand how organizations work. You think about strategy and culture, how they should work together, and can discuss business strategy with executives.
- You have a deep respect for the people going through a change. It's not just boxes and milestones to you, you can slow down to really listen and empathize with people possibly losing a sense of control and narrative at work.
- You can own the room when you need to. You have executive presence but you also know when to let others in.
- You are eager to build influence behind the scenes. You are excited to win over skeptics and find out what leaders really need.
- You can design and sell the work. You have confidence in yourself that you can originate, scope, adjust, and win change program work.
- You want to build our business with us. You want to see a boutique firm challenge consulting's biggest players and do so with a focus on craft and genuine impact. You align with our values and vision.
- You might have an advanced degree in organizational psychology, organizational change or similar. This is not a hard requirement, but ultimately, we need someone who has a nuanced understanding of how organizations grow and change (far beyond the latest fads).
- You probably have 8+ years of relevant experience (8-12 for an Associate Principal and typically more for Principal). Again, this is not a hard requirement nor the best gauge of expertise, but we thought it might be helpful in deciding which role to apply for.

- Company-wide in-person offsites at least once per year and regional meet-ups when appropriate.
- We help you save for retirement by matching 100% of your contributions up to the first 3% of pay and 50% of your contributions on the next 2% of pay.
OUR HIRING PROCESS

- We'll conduct an initial review of your application. If we're curious to learn more, you'll receive an invite to a video questionnaire. We ask 2 questions to get to know you better. The platform is called Hireflix and it will allow you to record and submit your answers. We are looking for your candid responses here.
- If you seem like a good addition to our team, we will conduct 1-2 interview rounds before making you an offer.
In all, our steps are minimal but we are admittedly very slow on our side to move folks through steps. Please be prepared that it may be some time between when you submit and when you hear back from us.
This level pays $260k USD with the opportunity for a small sales bonus. There are no salary negotiations at NOBL. You can see more of what may qualify you for this level in our Codex.
